The concept of Colorful Trach Ties was inspired by my daughter, who received a trach tube after neck surgery at the age of 6. It all began during the holiday season in our local clothing store when I remarked on how adorable the holiday dresses were and suggested we get matching ones for our two girls to take photos. My husband pointed out that, unfortunately, the trach would stand out. That’s when I realized we could embrace the trach instead of hiding it, as it is now a permanent part of my daughter. There’s no reason a trach tie cover can't be stylish and designed to match her outfit. This idea sparked the creation of Colorful Trach Ties, which not only celebrates her uniqueness but also offers stylish trach tie covers alongside essential tracheostomy products, including practical suction machine carrying cases.

As a parent of two special needs children, I quickly observed that the medical industry often featured a dull palette dominated by grey, blue, and green. It seemed as though there was a distinct lack of vibrancy and style in the available products. This realization led to the creation of Colorful Trach Ties in 2009, starting with our innovative trach tie covers to bring more color to the world of tracheostomy products. A few years later, we expanded our offerings by launching suction machine carrying cases specifically tailored for DeVilbiss machines. Since then, we have introduced additional items for Sunset and Laerdal machine. Our mission continues as we strive to enhance the medical field with more color and style, and we are excited about the possibility of adding more medical machines to our product range in the near future.
